James Cagney plays a cocky Canadian bush pilot (Brian Maclean) in this Warner Brothers 1941 film. This film was Cagney's first technicolor picture and his number two top grossing picture.

There are lots of great flying scenes as Cagney and his bush pilot buddy's work the Canadian Bush. Beautiful northern lake footage and the vintage 1935 prototype Noorduyn Norseman, Wacos and Fairchild float planes will keep you glued to the screen.

When Maclean (Cagney) gets between fellow bush pilot Johnny Dutton (Dennis Morgan) and his beautiful fiance Emily Foster (Brenda Marshal) the fur begins to fly. Through all kinds of misunderstandings, the pilots eventually end up in the Royal Canadian Airforce and find themselves training in Harvards (AT-6) and flying Hudson bombers (Lockheed 14 super electras) to England. With a very patriotic WW2 sentiment this film is considered by many to be one of the finest Vintage Bush Pilot movies ever made.
